Futterhaus increases turnover in Germany by 16%

German pet care retailer Das Futterhaus increased its 2009 turnover in Germany by 16% up to EUR182 million (USD266 million), with like-for-like sales growing 4.3%. Das Futterhaus opened 24 stores with 13 new franchisees last year and is planning to add another 35 outlets, mainly in eastern and southern Germany.
