Record visitor numbers at Interzoo

Both the exhibitors and the fair organiser, the Wirtschaftsgemeinschaft Zoologischer Fachbetriebe GmbH (WZF), delivered an extremely positive verdict at the end of the 31st Interzoo in Nuremberg on Sunday, 16 May.

An increase of 4 per cent in exhibitors and 3 per cent more trade visitors than 2008 served to underline Interzoo's claim to be the most important international ordering platform for the global pet supplies sector. The show attracted over 38 000 visitors from 117 countries.

1502 companies from 53 countries presented current pet trends in a record gross exhibition area of over 90 000 m2 on the four days of the show. The internationality of the exhibitors increased from 77 to 79 per cent.
