Changes by Beaphar

With effect from 1st April, the Dutch manufacturer Beaphar is split in two companies: Beaphar BV, the commercial trading company, and Aafarma BV, the production company. The group announced that Beaphar wants to improve its position as one of the leading companies in Europe with regard to new product development but without making concessions to its current production capabilities. The effect of the split is that both companies can now concentrate on what they are best at. For Beaphar BV this means developing, marketing and selling pet products under its own brand names, including all medicinal registrations the company holds. For Aafarma this means producing quality products in the most efficient way. The research and development department and the commercial departments are part of Beaphar BV. All production related departments are part of Aafarma BV.
