Spectrum Brands, based in Atlanta (USA) and controlling the world known Varta batteries and light appliances (but also the Tetra aquariums, Remington shavers, Repel and Garden Safe household and garden chemicals), has filed for Chapter 11, unable to reimburse some mature debts.
